My Mom's going to be OK

So I talked to my mom on Sunday night and it seems she's on the mend. No emergency surgery required. I'm so relieved. She will have to have her gallbadder removed, but not for 6-8 weeks and it will be just day surgery. It's more of a preventive thing, just want to make sure that it does not happen again. Can you believe that it was the first time my mom had to stay in hosiptal since I was born. Well anyway, my mom decided that she would be alright, because hell or highwater(or gallbadder problem, pancreitits)was stopping her from seeing Momma Mia on Sat. The whole family seems to be going, my mom,my dad, aunt, uncle, grandma and me. Should be fun. I almost fell over when I heard my uncle was coming, he normally doesn't do these sort of things.

To the Person Who Parked in my Spot:

I would just like to say that the parking spot in front of my house was not shovelled out for you to use. My friends have worked very hard to keep that area clear (many thanks to A and M) so that I can park there. I wouldn't have minded if it was just for a little bit, but I arrived home at 5:15pm and you were still there at 9:30pm when I took my dog out before bed. Now I understand that you have a permit too... so you could have parked anywhere, and I also understand that a nicely shovelled spot is more appealing but did it ever occur to you that it was shovelled out for a reason? Next time could you please park a little further back, at least giving me enough room to actually park infront of my house? That would be greatly appreciated.
