Mamma Mia
So this weekend has been alittle on the busy side. On Friday I went shopping with D. from work. She wanted to find something nice to wear out. Sorry to M. as she called to tell me that she had bought a roast... or maybe sorry for me because that sure would have been yummy. Hope your back is feeling better... On Saturday was up and out for lunch with the whole family and off to the Royal Alex to see Mamma Mia. It was pretty cute and fun. My mom and my aunt loved it, they were grooving out in their seats. Overall there were some really great oneliners and the singing was really good. Though I could have gone without some of the 70's outfits (they were almost blinding)... No one was up and dancing in the aisles or anything but it seemed everyone really enjoyed it. I guess matinees are a little more reserved then the evening shows... My dad thought it was too loud... but his musical tastes end well before 1960... so.... At least the rest of us had a good time. It's always great to get together with family. After the show I had to come home and have a brief nap and get the apartment tidied up as D. was coming over so that we could go out dancing. Unfortunately she didn't make it until almost 11... she was orginally coming at 9:30, but there was forgotten money and ID and then a big accident on the DVP which was aptly called the Don Valley Parking Lot last night. In the end she made it, so we got ready and headed downtown. We went to Savage, hasn't changed all that much, the people are still well Savagey, but hey I was there for the music and the dancing. Which I did quite abit of I might add. So all in all it was a good time. D. really enjoyed herself and hopefully there will be some more nights out.
