So I will apoligize once again to the very helpful M. for my dog making her back worse (I totally know how she feels) and of course for not coming by last night, but somehow I managed to fall asleep on my way too small couch, my neck will never forgive me. Well at least I was warm, since my apartment was freezing and I was covered with a polorfleece blanket and a 60 pound heater.
My dog is absolutely anti-social when at the PARK, he has a bit of OCD when it comes to B A L L S. While out yesterday Murphy was approched by the cutest little puppy, which he completely ignored and just gave me the crack look until I threw the ball again. Then there was the toy collision, Murphy slammed head first into a poor little old dog who was running after his kong that happened to end up in the exact same spot Murphy was going. Of course I was all worried that the poor thing was hurt and of course the dogs seemed not to care at all. They were probably wondering why their people were making such a fuss. At some point Murphy managed to bite his own tongue, happens every once in awhile because his dog gets so big when he's playing (always wonder if he's compensating for something). And to top off the afternoon the 'hairy humper' as Michelle called him came to play too. Everything was going along fine, hairy was chasing Murphy as he chased the ball, when suddenly hairy decided it was time to hump... Murphy just stood there and looked at me... waiting... I tried to remove the hairy humper, so that I could through the ball, but to no avail, and Murphy just stood there looking at the chuckit. Finally after several minutes of humping Murphy realized that I was not going to throw the ball until the humper stopped, so he finally gave hairy a growl and a nip... I don't really think it was because he was getting humped, but it was more because I wasn't throwing the ball. My dog is soooo weird.
