RATS....

Well mice anyway... So yesterday morning I woke up to the beautiful bitter cold that had continued over from Sunday to find out that there is a mouse in the house... probably more than one but anyway I diegress.... Now I have all of the food stuff that mice might find yummy hidden away in large tupperware bins, including Murphy's dog food. Of coures my landlords are blissfully unaware of the problem as they are in CUBA for 2 weeks... must be nice. While we all freeze our little tushes off and are attacked by little furry rodents, they are most likely relaxing on a beach with margaritas. All I have to say is BLAHHHHHHH......

THE CHUCKIT

So on Sunday Michelle, Adam and I took Murphy to the P A R K .... yes we went out in the frigid cold to try out Murphy's new toy... and of course take pictures of the event (which I hope to post some soon). Needless to say, Murphy loved it... it's his new favorite toy.... though he doesn't know the name of it yet, unlike Frisbee, but I'm sure sooner than later when one mentions the Chuckit Murphy will react as if you were saying B A L L or frisbee. He defenitly knows what it is to look at it.

Today (Tuesday) we all took Murphy out again, since the temperature decided to go back to something reasonable. By the time we got to the P A R K he had figured out that we had the chuckit and was jumping all over the place, and all over Adam then Michelle. I'm pretty sure we were out for about an hour... the only reason he stopped was because we managed to lose the ball. We even managed to take some more pictures of Murphy and me beside the ice rink (how Canadian is that?) before we left. He's now lying quietly, yes I said quietly, beside me while I'm typing... happiness is a tired dog. Unfortunately, we had a P A R K injury... on the walk home he seemed to be limping, at first I just thought that it was from all the salt on the sidewalk... but then I took a closer look and found that he had somehow sliced on of his pads on his left front paw. The same paw and the same pad as the broken nail incident. I blame myself... I haven't bought his booties yet and I should have... :( I guess all the more reason to go and get them for him.

...While we all freeze our little tushes off and are attacked by little furry rodents, they are most likely relaxing on a beach with margaritas...For some reason, I read this sentence as the mice relaxing a beach with margaritas. Hee, what an awesome mental image.

Anyways, sorry to hear about poor Murphy's paw! He'll be fine, I'm sure -- must be the day for it, we just noticed a big scratch on Inca's nose too.

The pics turned out good, when you come over tomorrow we can pick some and see about photoshopping away the creepy devil-dog eyes Murphy's got going on in them ;)
