Happy Halloween

So it is Halloween, my favorite tme of year. Unfortunately I'm not doing anything for it. Ah well doesn't help that it's on a Monday. Anyway, need to send out a congratulations to D. and F. on their wedding day and I hope that the weather cooperates down in Jamica. Have a great day you two.

and I have a whole lot of it... which I attempted to shake on Sunday at my first belly dancing class. The class went very well, though I was completely left handed yesterday... anyway woke up a little sore this morning but it was the good kind of sore...

In other news my friend A. gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Friday - Jacob at 8 pounds 4 oz. - in hospital, naturally and only took 2.5 hours. Everyone is doing fine. Unforuntately, I have to send out my sympathy to our other friend E. who lost her baby just after birth. My thoughts are with you.

Egypt in April

Update

So I have survived the first week back in the big city. It has been crazy hectic, well at least for me. Monday when I got to work my manager decided to have me start coming to work full time, 5 pm every day. Now I have to completely change my schedual... I couldn't get anything done this week, suddenly I didn't have the time. To make it worse it took me an hour to get home Tuesday to Friday, so by the time I'm home and take the dog out I don't even get to eat until 8pm. Which is making my whole diet thing hard to sort out. Now I have to do everything on the weekend, which was made very hard by the massive hangover I had from the Friday night deck party. Someone please remind me to stay away from tequila. Anyway, it was a good time.

This morning I went out and bought the $250.00 worth of books I need for my course this year, it would have been more but I had already bought one of the books I needed last year for my won personal interest. Then I managed to get to the grocery store, reminder to self - do not go shopping on Sunday at noon.... to top off my day the dyer died, while I was in the middle of doing laundry. So now I have clothes hanging all over the bathroom. Oh yah, now my DVD player isn't working, won't turn on. Somehow, this day really didn't go very well.
